Hemp apparel is much better

Hemp apparel is better for many reasons however on average, one acre of hemp can produce two to three times more fiber than an acre of cotton.
Hemp detoxifies the soil by removing harmful chemicals and pollutants and enriches the soil with nitrogen and oxygen.

Hemp can be grown with much less chemicals, or many times, none at all.
Hemp needs one-third of the water that cotton needs.
Hemp is three to eight times stronger than cotton (depending on how it is processed). The textile products will last longer.
Hemp apparel: breathes very well, moisture absorbent, UV protect-ant, and anti-bacterial (especially important for performance apparel.)

So the question should actually be why not hemp! For additional comparisons of hemp and cotton, read Hemp vs Cotton.

So now I have a few questions for you. Have you purchased sustainable performance apparel in the past? How do you like it? Would you buy sustainable sports apparel if you had the option? Would you pay more for ethical sports apparel if you knew it helped the environment and the people making the clothing?
